Thanksgiving in MN

Jordan finally came home from college.  The weather cooperated and we headed to Rochester for Thanksgiving.  I have had pnuemonia.  So as not to infect anyone and because I don't have any taste buds right now - I did dishes.

Fall Friday and I don't do football....

It is Friday night and the house is quiet quiet quiet. Jordan is on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, George is heading home from Arkansas - or was he home in Arkansas and is heading to Wisconsin, Gabe is at a football game and then a sleepover. It appeared as though the whole town was at the football game. The weather is perfect 72 degrees. Gabe had shorts and a hoodie on! But alas, I am not a football fan. I cannot even pretend. So, I have rented a movie and may work on a quilt as I watch the movie. That is my idea of a fun Friday night. Lame - I know. The second best thing would be going for a run. I already did that today.

It looks like winter has arrived........

I know I am in Wisconsin. But......do we have to have winter every year! I am so impressed with those that have lived here all their lives. They take the weather in stride. It is no big deal. It is 19 degrees and kids are still riding bikes to school, walking to class and smiling! I grimace as the wind blows through my clothes like I am not even dressed! I feel like such a wimp.
